Prior Swedish language competence

Objectives of level 3 (level B2 of the Common European Framework of language assessment).

Course description

Course participants work with highly varied text materials comprising both technical literature and fiction. The course aims at improving students' command of linguistic registers and to provide them with a rich and differentiated vocabulary.
The text material aims at conveying knowledge about Swedish culture and society and serves as a basis for oral and written expression. The course is geared to the needs and objectives of participants.

Objectives

Understanding fast spoken Swedish concerning general and specific topics without any major difficulties.
Ability to discuss issues without difficulties and with very good pronunciation.
Being able to read authentic texts about various topics without any comprehension problems.
Command of different styles and both oral and written expression.
Very good knowledge of Swedish grammar.

These objectives correspond to level C1 of the Common European Framework of language assessment.

Language test

Please register for the level that corresponds best to your competence level.
All students will also have to pass our language test, which is designed to evaluate students present language competence and group students accordingly.
After we have received your application, a language test will be sent to you via e-mail.
